Moodle Hub

MOODLE

Moodle is an open source Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) used at the Faculty of Education. Worldwide, Moodle is used by millions of educators in tertiary, secondary and primary settings for education and training purposes in schools, universities and business environments.

At the Faculty of Education Moodle is the main platform used for the delivery of flexi courses.  With its emphasis on collaboration, social-constructivist theories of learning and interactive content, Moodle makes it an ideal platform for flexible course delivery.  It is also being used by an increasing number of face-to-face and blended/hybrid courses in order to extend the learning community and environment beyond the physical classes attended by staff and students.
