What is Moodle?

"Moodle is a course management system (CMS) - a free, Open Source software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities."  Visit the worldwide Moodle community at: http://moodle.org
Moodle is extensively used in schools and tertiary institutions in Australia and New Zealand.   It is also is widely used in Europe, especially in Spain and the U.K.  The largest Moodle installation in the world is the Open University in the U.K. with over 200,000 students using Moodle!
